While she promotes the 'Walk Away Weights' in the DVD, light hand weights 2 - 3 pounds can be substituted, just be sure to watch your form. A helpful meter appears along the way, to show you just far you've walked.

I love Leslie Sansone and have been walking with her at home for over 2 years now, I have around 25 of her dvds and originally lost 72 pounds with her until i hit menopause and started having a number of health problems, I also had a knee injury that prevented me from walking for months.
