Shinpachi Nagakura: Loves his alcohol, his women and fighting, Shinpachi just loves a damn good time.
Just watch that temper. As another member of the Shinsengumi Captains his way with the sword is without question. Keisuke Sanan: Cool and Calculated, Sanan is the brains behind the Shinsengumi and has the skill to match. Jsami Kondou: The Cheif and the one the other Captains look up to, he started as a man from a poor little town with a crummy little Dojo and a dream.
He, along with the other captains, started from nothing and made themselves into what they are today, elite, death dealing machines in order to keep the peace. Or just the guys to break up a bar fight.. Chikage Kazuma: A Mysterious Man whom was hired by the Satsuma, he takes some very curious interest in the protagonist and makes very clear his intentions Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom.

However, Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi on the Playstation 3 is a great alternative if you don't own a PS Vita, and its additional fandisc content isn't to be sniffed at either, which sadly isn't available in any of the other versions. We also wouldn't be surprised to see a two in one collection of Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds and Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms coming to the Playstation 4 later down the line seeing as it already exists in Japan , but that's merely conjecture at the moment.
This game is an otome; basically one girl surrounded by guys to pick from. The main character is a girl by the name of Chizuru Yukimura, who is looking for her father. He had gone missing for about a month, and she decided she would search for him. One night, when searching, she is attacked by a group of demon-like creatures covered in blood attack her. She is saved by members of the Shinsengumi, a group of men rebelling against the government.
This game is a visual novel type, and is quite interesting; however it is not for those who want more action. I recommend this for people who enjoy choosing relationships, and who like samurai and the Shinsengumi.
This is mostly a dating game, after all, so I especially recommend it to girls. The mystery of the Shinsengumi and the demons are something that you can only truly experience by reading the visual novel completely! A girl disguising herself as a boy goes to the ronin masterless samurai infested Kyoto and horrors of white haired men wearing blue coats approaches her.
Hakuoki is about the Shinsengumi. The story is very long and tells you history of Japan in the s, with the addition of supernatural things. You should know that this game involves a lot of reading and reading. The characters are developed in the course of time. Each giving information to the protagonist and each of their beliefs unraveled. They each have their own troubles that they want to solve.
The greatest thing about this game is the art, and as you can see, it has wonderful CGs and background. This kind of pictures makes you want to collect all CGs and just look at them. The opening song is cool and the BGMs gives the atmosphere the right justice. The ending song will put you to tears. Hakuoki: Shinsengumi Kitan PS2, Japan Only Only really included for completeness, this is where it all began - the core story of the men of the Shinsengumi, with the six original romance options.
